Why Does My Child Need A Crown?
Sometimes, an area of decay may be too large for a filling, or the decay may have compromised a significant part of the tooth, leaving insufficient structure to support a filling. If your child experiences an accident that results in significant tooth damage or is at high risk for developing cavities, it may be best to preserve the remaining tooth structure with a crown.
